We have created a fixed-length, tuition-based program where individuals can receive training for certification, either as an Option Process® Mentor/ Counselor or as a Son-Rise Program® Child Facilitator. The Certification programs are intense, in-depth, comprehensive, challenging, and highly personalized.

What Happens After Certification?
Once you are certified as either an Option Process® Mentor/Counselor or a Son-Rise Program® Child Facilitator, you may apply to join The Option Institute's elite staff, continue training to be a Group Facilitator or a Son-Rise Program Teacher, or set up your own professional practice within your community.

In professional practice, you will have the opportunity to:

Requirements for Certification
In order to enroll in our one-month professional Option Process® Mentor/Counselor Certification program, you must first complete the prerequisite requirements, either Option #1 or Option #2-see below.
Additionally, you might have already earned credits toward Certification! If you have taken programs at The Option Institute before, your past weeklong courses may apply toward Certification (talk to one of our Program Counselors). All Living The Dream Dream Graduates qualify for Certification training.

One other Weekly program
In addition, we offer Certification training programs to become either a Son-Rise Program® Child Facilitator or a Son-Rise Program® Teacher. Graduates of these programs are then certified to work with families who have children challenged by autism and other special needs. This training is done on a tuition basis but also can include a paid staff position. For more information, call our Program Counselors and ask about Son-Rise Program® training at the Autism Treatment Center of AmericaTM, a division of The Option Institute.
