1. What is your mentoring background and related experience?
In March 1999, I began my mentoring practice, which includes in person as well as telephone dialogues. Wanting to serve my clients better, I enrolled in the Certification 2000 Mentor Training course and became one of an elite few to receive certification in the Option Process® Dialogue.
2. Why did you become an Option Process® Mentor?Counselor?
I had my first experience with the Option Process® Dialogue years ago at a Happiness Is A Choice weekend course. The dialogue process impressed me as an incredibly powerful tool. Using it, I was able to resolve issues in weeks that I hadn't resolved with during years of therapy. After participating in the Living The Dream program in 1998, I decided that I wanted to offer this fabulous life changing process to others. During a meditation exercise, this statement relating to becoming a mentor came from a deep place within me: " I am a vessel for God's work. All my life has brought me to this point - this is what I am here for - my "life's purpose".
3. Why do you believe the Option Process® and the Option Process® Dialogue are so effective?
I believe that the Option Process® and the Option Process® Dialogue are so effective because it works on the core of where we are the most powerful: Our Thoughts, Our Beliefs. Change the belief and the feelings and behaviors in our daily lives will automatically change. Try it!
4. How can someone specifically use the Option Process® Dialogue to change their life?
Focus on a specific example in your life where there is discomfort. Think about your responses (feelings and behaviors) relating to that situation. Gentle, nonjudgmental questions asked during a dialogue can uncover the belief that fueled your unwanted feelings and/or behaviors. By further questioning and examining this belief during a dialogue, it can be changed or discarded. This can happen and often does happen in an instant. The "magic" is that when the belief is changed, your discomfort is also instantly gone. Since many of our beliefs are interrelated, dialoguing on one major issue often helps resolve other issues in one's life. The dialogue can also be used as a tool to tune into your inner expert in order to plan for or discover ways of obtaining what you want.
5. How have you used the Option Process® Dialogue to make changes in your life?
Wow! I can list example after example of issues that I have dialogued on which have been resolved through this process, leaving me feeling freer and more empowered than ever before. By dialoguing consistently with others or doing self-dialogues, I have been able to trust myself more, find answers to dilemmas in my life and find ways of getting more and more of what I want in my life. From being a depressed and angry person who felt "stuck" in my daily world, I became a joyful person who is actively going for and achieving my dreams. My dreams of being a Mentor/Counselor and teacher, being with my three children in a joyful, loving and fun way, of fully accepting and actively helping my "special needs" child (I am currently doing the Son-Rise program with him.) and many other dreams have all come true.
6. Do you recommend anything to help someone prepare for a dialogue(any specific reading, listening, viewing, etc.)?
I find that clients who have read Happiness Is A Choice by Barry Neil Kaufman have a clearer understanding of the dialogue tool and how to use it more effectively in their session. Other books such as To Love Is To Be Happy With and Giant Steps, both by Barry Neil Kaufman, are also helpful and wonderful to read.
7. Do you have any quotes from any clients that you would like us to include?
"During the past year, I have dialogued many times with Isis as my mentor. I have found that the Option Process® dialogue provides the ultimate structure for helping me detect my unwanted beliefs and that Isis is the ultimate detective in helping me uncover those beliefs. When she presents the tremendous gift of her loving questions, I am always amazed at the wonderful healing I experience at such a deep level."

8. Please include a brief statement on what being a mentor has meant to you along with any inspirational stories or updates on your progress as a professional.
Being a mentor has meant the world to me! The feelings of love and acceptance that I feel when I am doing a mentoring session are hard to describe. I am filled with a deep respect and trust for my clients' own expertise about themselves.
I recently started to give workshops at the Holistic Healing Center in Chestnut Ridge. I plan to continue quarterly workshops. For those interested, I also teach via the telephone on an individual basis. These telephone classes are more personalized and often include dialogue questions as well.
