Who We Are

The Option Institute is a non-profit, tax exempt, charitable organization. Because of the support we receive from many generous and supportive people, we can provide scholarships for families having children with special needs as well as adults looking for solutions to their personal life challenges. Our donors become key players in our work enabling us to expand our curriculum and services. Their contributions open doors for individuals looking to benefit from our life-enhancing programs. The Option Institute has served as a beacon of hope and possibility for thousands of people from all over the world for over two decades. As a non-profit, tax-exempt, charitable organization we have been able to provide scholarships to families with children having special needs, as well as to adults looking for hopeful solutions to personal difficulties.
In the past 10 years alone, through the assistance of our generous donors, we have...
- Given away almost $3.2 million in financial aid
- Served people from 78 countries on 6 continents
- Reached over 20,000,000 people through our website, news, featured stories, and catalogs
In order to meet the growing demand for our programs, we need your help. But we can't do it alone! This is why we rely on the generosity of caring individuals like you.
If you want to be an important part of making the world a more loving and peaceful place in these challenging times, we ask you to put your caring into action and stretch out your heart and hand with a donation to The Option Institute.
With your help we can reach more families, empower more people, and increase the level of happiness in the world.
The search for peace in the world must start within the human heart and within our own families. Barry Neil Kaufman understands that. By personal example and through his writing and counseling, he gives a compelling vision for the building of inner and outer peace.
President Jimmy Carter, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate
If we believe that we are all connected in some way, and that each of our choices and actions can have meaning and impact - not only on ourselves, but on those around us, and even those we have never met - we CAN make a difference. We can transform the world, one life at a time.
