Dear Son-Rise Mom or Dad,

Hello! We are cheering you on from the beautiful Berkshires of western Massachusetts!

Over time, you’ve had the opportunity to be there for your child in the most caring and helpful ways. You’ve gained expertise in implementing unique and useful techniques. Most importantly, just as you’ve asked your child to grow and change, you yourself have grown and changed.

Although techniques are vital, you know better than anyone that it is your own attitude, drive, clarity and ability to believe in yourself and your child (even when no one else does) that has helped you to implement a successful program.

You may recall that the Autism Treatment Center of America is a division of The Option Institute. Today, I’m writing you to invite you to take the next step in your child’s program and in your own development by joining us for one of our personal development programs at The Option Institute.

Do you want to become a stronger program leader providing powerful feedback to volunteers, therapists, and even I.E.P. decision-makers? Would you like to develop skills to counsel those who work with your child so that they can become calmer, clearer and better able to help him or her more effectively? How about developing a relationship with your partner that is deeper, sweeter, closer and more fun? Or, how about (dare I say it!) taking a week to actually focus on YOU, building an unshakable sense of internal strength that can’t be rocked by what others say or do?

We are still here, on a mountainside in the country, thinking of you, believing in you, and sending you all our very best as you continue on your journey.
