Take the Major Deegan Expwy (87 North) to the New York Thruway East (Rte.     287).

Take the Thruway to Rte. 684 North.

Stay on Rte. 684 until it ends and becomes Rte. 22. Ignore other exits that     say Rte. 22- stay on until the end of I-684.

Follow Rte. 22 North to Millerton, NY and turn right onto Rte. 44 East.

Take Rte. 44 East to Salisbury, CT. In Salisbury, turn left onto Route 41 North.

Watch your odometer: After about 5 miles, watch for a large sign saying    "Entering Sheffield, MA."

Opposite the sign is the stone pillar entrance to the Option Institute.
