From Most Locations - Amtrak Train

Amtrak 1-(800) 872-7245 / (413) 785-4230 / www.amtrak.com One train daily from Albany-Rensselaer Station, Boston South Station, New York City Penn Station and the Springfield Station arriving in Pittsfield. Reservations required. Because of security regulations a photo ID or passport is required to ride the train. (The Pittsfield train station is unstaffed but there are payphones located on premises). From Pittsfield to The Option Institute, call one of the local taxi companies for a pick up. See "Local Transportation."

From New York City - Commuter Train:

Take the Metro Rail North train (1-800-METRO-INFO or 212-532-4900) from Grand Central Station to Wassaic, NY ($12-$20 for a one-way ticket). Tickets can be purchased at the train station or on-board the train. The train station purchase is less expensive than purchasing the ticket on the train. From Wassaic to The Option Institute, call and make reservations with one of the limousine/taxi services. See "Local Transportation." (Lakeville Taxi and Limousine Eisners are least expensive).
